Avey/Kina Brekkan Tare Pullhair Rubeye 8/18/2023 Lightning Hand 5Avey Tare is Dave Portner of Animal Collective and Kria Brekkan is Kristin Anna Valtysdottir formerly of the band mum. Avey Tare and Kria Brekkan recorded their debut collaboration Pullhair Rubeye with guitars and piano on an eight track in their practice space in Brooklyn. Then they traveled to upstate New York where the record was mixed down onto a two track borrowed from a friend. Just as the two were completing the mix, the two track broke down
